Family-owned and operated, Rumford Pet Express is a true East Providence landmark founded by Herbert “Salty” Baker in 1936. Conveniently located on Rt. 6, we are a fourth-generation pet specialty retailer dedicated to the well-being of pets and the community for more than 85 years. Our pet-friendly store offers a wide array of high-quality natural pet foods, treats, toys, and accessories, and self-serve dog wash stations. We also host puppy training and socialization classes, nail trimming clinics, and adoption events in partnership with local animal shelters to help find forever homes for pets in need.
